Here are things to expect in 2011 for IA:

1. Skill engine rewrite. This is a massive undertaking. Our last skill engine rewrite fixed a LOT of stuff but still wasn't flexible enough for everything Aion has. This next rewrite will fix almost everything else.

2. Team vs Team events. 2v2, 3v3, etc. Many of you have been on the live servers as we've tested these after we do an update. Rewards will be given for individual matches and top leaders for the week/month when it's fully implemented. We're still working out whether we want to run these all the time or once an hour.

3. Dredgion and Dark Poeta scripted. We've already begun scripting other instances. There's a lot of packet work involved with these two (sorry, we're not going to half-ass Dredgion like the open source projects). Most likely, we will not include the loss of points in Dredgion when you are killed (such a bullshit mechanic that encourages carebearing).

4. Improved AI. Npcs properly calling their minions and handling of those functions to be closer to retail. This also includes fixes for SM spirits sometimes not behaving as well as siege weapons being put in.

5. Third server. This one will have a special purpose. But I will say there's been a huge demand for a server like what this one is going to be. Hardcore and casual players will both be able to have fun here.

6. A wip℮. January 31st is the date. I feel that if we set a public date for this it will force us to stick to it. All credits will be refunded and be able to be spent on new items across the three servers. Discussion of this is still off limits. Your opinion on this subject is not needed.

Those are the big things. Obviously we have other stuff on our project list and keep fixing random things as we feel like it (as we always have).
